City Holden is the only dealer in Australia to win this award every year since its inception.

City Holden is owned and operated by the Newton family. Christopher Newton began the business in 1979 and has enjoyed passing on the principles he has learned in the automotive business, to his son Julian.  Julian started in the business 16 years ago fresh out of school and whilst completing Business at the Uni of SA he washed cars for his father as his initiation into the Business. Once completing his course he then moved on to selling cars before managing the new vehicle sales department. Today, Julian is the Dealer Principal responsible for the operations in four sites in South Australia including Adelaide, Hillcrest, Nailsworth and Rose Park.

And so, with City Holden and the Newton family, whilst change is embraced, it is also balanced with continuity of operational style. As Julian Newton remarks:
